Quincie’s Yoga Class Schedule
“It [practice] becomes grounded firmly when dwelled upon for an extended time with dedication and without interruption.”
—the yoga sutras I.14
OM SANTIH SANTIH SANTIH
Turn your focus to sacred sound for the evening. Sound affects our consciousness in a profound way. Offering up sacred sound can help to purify our consciousness and turn our attention and focus to Divine Love. Chanting along side the sacred vibrations of the harmonium can lift us up as a community. Chanting (kirtan) is not a performance but a practice, so it does not matter if you have lots of experience or none at all. All are welcome. Chanting and kirtan are for all those looking to bring a little more light and a little more love into their own lives, or into the community as a whole. This is NOT an asana (posture) or movement based class. Open to all ages. FREE to join. You have nothing to lose, and a world of love to gain.
SACRED SOUND • An evening of chanting and harmonium is lead by Quincie Kubricky Ghirarduzzi. Quincie has been teaching at Grounded on Glen Street since 2018 and finds deep joy in leading asana classes. In January 2023 Quincie traveled to southern India for an extensive immersion in Bhakti yoga (yoga of love and devotion). Since her time in India she has fallen in love with the Bhakti tradition of yoga where kirtan is very prevelant. Quincie has been chanting and playing the harmonium since first learning in India.
"I may not be terribly proficient technically--neither my playing or my voice & Sanskrit pronunciation but my ENTIRE heart and soul are found in kirtan." —Quincie
SACRED SOUND • An evening of chanting and harmonium is the FIRST kirtan that Quincie is leading. Welcome her with an open heart. Her whole heart is waiting to serve YOU!

Yin yoga at the Lake Luzerne Senior Center
Yin yoga is a non-moving practice. Students are lead through a series of still, seated postures. Postures are held 3-10 minutes. Focus is guided toward releasing all muscle engagement and settling into the pose as much as possible. Props are used to support and protect the body throughout the stillness.
Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body: tendons, ligaments, fascia, and joints. Yin yoga can help to prevent injury and maintain or improve healthy range of motion in the joints. Also, yin can aid in quelling anxiety and depression as well as overall mood stabilization. Experience the benefits yourself!
Open to all levels, no age requirement.

Vinyasa Flow at Grounded on Glen Street
“Vinyasa flow” is a style of yoga where postures transition one into the next. Movement “flows” —if you will, from one posture to the next. In my Monday night Vinyasa flow, postures are mindfully sequenced to build strength and flexibility for all body types! In Vinyasa flow we start with grounding and centering; we take a moment to check in with our body, mind, and breath. Attention is directed to the breath and often times we even practice breath exercises. We move through sun salutations designed to gradually warm the body in preparation for standing and balancing postures. Vinyasa flow yoga can help you build strength and flexibility in both mind and body! Toward the end of our practice we take time to cool down the body by moving and ‘flowing’ slowly through postures and softening into longer held poses. We always end with shavasana, silence, and stillness.
All levels welcome.
